Christopher
the notes folder is not directly accessable by the user without pc suite.
However, it is on the phone memory.
It has been my experience that when i transfer the files in the notes folder
to my pc, they are transfered as text files or .txt files.
I can then edit them using notepad or ms word.

Mario,
When you create a note in the Notes utility, where in your phone's memory
or
on the memory card is this text or .txt file stored? I've never been able
to
find it, and I always assumed that the Notes utility uses a little
database
or single file to store it's notes.

Hi Elleanor
a .txt file is simply a text file.
I'm sorry if i confused you, by placing the .txt reference in my reply.
I should have kept it simple by suggesting to create a note in your notes
folder.
However it has been my experience that the notes i crate in my notes
folder
are .txt files or text files.
Hense if you copy them to your pc, you should be able to edit them there
as
well.

Hi David
Please forgive me if i am stating the obvious. I dont mean to offend
anyone.
But Just setup your own details as one of the contacts in the contacts
folder.
These contacts are cald business cards.
Then you can easily send your contact details as a business card.
Or else you can setup a .tst note in your notes folder.
And send it to as many people as you want.

Subject: [Talks] Business Card?
I need to circulate my new phone number to the people I have put on my
contact list.
I have been told that the best way to do this is to send a business
card.
I can see easily how to send the business card as an option in
Contacts.
How do I set up the business card though??
At the moment, as far as I am aware, the phone is completely unaware of
my
name for example.
I have gone through the phone settings wizard but could not find a
relevant
area.
My version of the manual is again less than helpful, simply pointing to
the
ability to send business cards as an option in contact, but not how to
set
up the business card.
Again thanks for any help.
Without this list I am not sure I would have been able to muddle
through
so
far.
Regards
David Griffith
