OpenStreetMap Mappers,

The OpenStreetMap.org website and API access have been disrupted today due to a
hardware failure experienced by our Internet Service Provider (ISP) at our
primary server hosting location in Amsterdam.

Since 4:00 am GMT/UTC, our ISP has been working to resolve the issue. However,
they are currently unable to provide an estimated time for the restoration of
service.

In the meantime, we have transitioned the OpenStreetMap.org website and API to
our backup hosting location in Dublin. Unfortunately, this means that map edits
cannot be saved while operating from the backup hosting location.

We will restore normal services as soon as our ISP connectivity is
re-established.

Thank you for your understanding and patience.

We post updates to:

A few other services are affected, for a "live" view see:

Best regards,

Grant
OpenStreetMap Operations Team
