The DWG has recieved some questions about the need to use a dedicated account and it was requested that we send a message to the Italian community.
The import guidelines[1] are clear about the need to use a dedicated account[2]. The DWG feels that the need to use a dedicated account is a sound policy and is supported by our experiences in editing in areas with imports, cleaning up imports and the recent redaction experience, particularly in Poland. We recognize that the line between an import and assisted mapping is not currently clearly defined; however all the cases I have seen recently clearly were on the import side of that line. Although not required it is useful if you include a link to your main account for contact purposes and a listing of any imports you have done on it with links to the entries in the import catalogue[3] on the description page of your import account.
