What is 'not:brand:wikidata'?

I've used the not: prefix before to indicate that an object seen from sat imagery was not what the previous contributor thought it was. I guess not:brand:wikidata means that the brand doesn't correspond to any wikidata element and that you can't go wrong with a wikidata element with the same name but not talking about the same brand.

I would give you a good example, but the most common value is absurd
https://www.openstreetmap.org/node/1788371654
operator=KTM + not:brand:wikidata=Q215657 (a bike constructor)
instead of adding operator:wikidata=Q1187590 (the railway operator)

Can't see any wiki details.

if I remember correctly, the problem of a name being identical to a brand without being part of it is mentioned in the page on mass editions

Regards,
Marc
