BHP is an abbreviation, yet many simply know it by the abbreviation.
HSBC bank also uses capitols.
I would tag the way that people commonly know it.
Perhaps as well as short_name OSM needs long_name where the short name
is in common use?
The wiki is 'just' a guide.
