An accepted answer to a recent question on help.openstreetmap.org ( https://help.openstreetmap.org/questions/69593/how-to-tag-a-medical-cannabis-dispensary ) suggested expanding the definition of shop=cannabis to include dispensaries for medical cannabis.
This makes sense to me, and the original discussion ( https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Talk:Proposed_features/shop%3Dcannabis ) doesn't really give any clear reason for excluding medical cannabis shops. (In fact, the subtags cannabis:medical and cannabis:recreational are proposed and not disputed.) I'm inclined to go ahead and edit the shop=cannabis wiki page (also take out some of the verbiage... the history in Colorado is interesting but not really relevant to the map) but I'd first like to fish for objections.
