Hi, I noticed that there was a stalled feature proposal originally made by malenki for winter service tagging, and I'd like to propose the same myself amended with my proposals.
Currently tagging of winter service is mostly done by the tag snowplowing=*, but that only covers one aspect of winter service: Winter service of roads may additionally contain salting, gritting etc., and the service priority is also worth documenting. The tag winter_service is also used, although less widely. The proposed tag is an enhancement to highway=* and can also be used on amenity=parking etc. It would partially duplicate the meaning of snowplowing=*, but will provide useful additional information that doesn't fit the current tag. The tag is also much more descriptive than the currently used de-facto-tag.
