Objection :-) Organic refers to certain compounds of carbon. "Organic" as widely used by the uninformed refers back to historical ideas that there was something magical/"spiritual" about living matter and has no place in the 20th or 21st centuries. Most modern weedkillers are organic in the true sense of the word, however destructive and polluting they may be.
