I confirm that kilns are not ovens for any kind of food.
So let's concentrate on food ovens.
I mentioned the subject for two reasons:
1) I expect a considerable overlap between the two oven categories. In the
western world we are used to the idea that food ovens are normally inside
restaurants, but in the rest of the world many bread|pizza|pita|whatever
ovens are outside and often separate buildings (as they used to be in many
parts of Europe only 50 years ago). So the tagging proposal needs to
reflect this.
2) I was surprised to find so few stand-alone ovens in OSM. I still fear
that they may be tagged by a key that we have not yet identified (maybe a
local term in some country)

Regarding point (1), adding the building key for stand-alone ovens is all
that's required to distinguish between the two.
