it depends what the actual data structure is like. For example Mc Donald's
doesn't have the same ref:vatin worldwide, not even within one country
(it's operating with a franchise concept and there are also Mc Donald's
companies under the control of the Mc D. Corporation which operate a part
of their places), so the same brand and/or wikidata-brand link would be
better suited to group them than tax ID.
