While we don't want to be controlled by the rendering, thinking about rendering has value.
Here we're talking about generic bridge or road-like structures, with specific access issues. That could be a generic tag that any simple rendering engine can process. The specialized data consumers can work out the exact type. Analogies include bridges and gates, both of which have many subtypes, but render generically. Thus I feel a specific tags for "goods conveyor" will not easily gain rendering support, but a generic tag good.
