To clarify the wiki a little bit more, I would also add to the key:destination page a sentence like “Where to use? Use destination=* on the highway (OSM way) after the position of the signpost/groundwriting.” And I would remove (as explained above) the three examples with the yellow/white signposts for being confusing.
