Maybe using the service namespace to create more specific tags would be more inline with the current tagging scheme, like it is done for bicycle repair (etc.) service: http://taginfo.openstreetmap.org/search?q=service%3Abicycle i.e. service:car:*=* (or service:motorcar ?) FWIW, I do not recall the "naked" service subtag being proposed or discussed for car repair businesses. cheers, Martin
