the result of the mentioned redesign is exactly that - there should be much fewer freeform values now. Other subtypes of bridges (humpback, suspension, drawbridge, swing etc) have been moved to subtags bridge:structure and bridge:movable. It would be important that those few bridge values that remained after the redesign are rendered. Also rendering the outline of man_made=bridge would be a huge progress.
