Hi, what about the headway tag? This tag is already in use for more than 750 public transport routes (bus, tram, subway). The headway time is given in minutes. This is used for multiple departures per hour and also for only one departure per day. For only one departure per day a headway of 1440 minutes is used.
This headway can be calculated easily. Also for Maperitive it is easier to ask for "headway<241" for example than to look at different tag schemes. Why not use headway also for ferries?
