Based on objections about determining the license status of the linked image, I have removed: http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Proposed_features/Image >From voting for now.
I encourage discussion. How can an agent, using an image link, determine the license status of the image? Clearly there is no problem with the URL itself, but the image could be restricted from reuse.
