According to <URL: http://bugs.debian.org/736479 >, there are patches in the suse version of insserv that isn't in the upstream svn. I had a look in our svn, and the if block is not scoped there. Should we apply it upstream? I applied it in Debian and did not see any change in behavour, so I am unsure exactly what is the correct behaviour here.
