The IESG has approved the Internet-Draft 'Syslog Protocol' <draft-ietf-syslog-syslog-12.txt> as an Informational RFC. This document is the product of the Security Issues in Network Event Logging Working Group. The IESG contact persons are Jeffrey Schiller and Marcus Leech.
