Dear SymPy Maintainers,

I recently noticed that the SymEngine-related project idea was removed from
the GSoC ideas page due to a lack of available mentors. I had been
preparing to work on "*Improve SymPy integration*" project and was
interested in contributing to the integration of SymEngine as a backend for
more parts of SymPy.

Before deciding on my next steps, I wanted to ask:

   1. *Is there any possibility that a mentor could still be found for this
project?* If any contributors are interested but hesitant due to time
constraints, I’d be happy to refine the proposal to ensure it aligns with
   SymPy’s needs.
   2. *Would it be possible to reintroduce the idea if a suitable mentor is
   found*

I would greatly appreciate any guidance on this, as I was highly motivated
to work on SymEngine’s integration.

If needed, I am also open to modifying the project scope to better fit the
available mentorship.

Looking forward to your thoughts!

Best regards,
Fırat Bezir
