I would like to propose an idea to add Fourier optics functionality to the already existing physics.optics package. The current package is based on Newtonian Optics and Par-axially Approximated Optics which work only for specific usecases. Adding Fourier analysis to the package would help in solving Fresnel, Fraunhoffer Diffraction problems as well as graphing them too.
