It would be great if students who did GSoC last year (2016) could improve 
the ideas list a bit. Adding proper links to where have written their blogs 
for what they left without merging, removing the content they believe has 
been done properly. That would reduce a large numbers of questions from 
beginners whose very first question is probably: *what has been done, what 
remains to be done*.
