Hi Moses,
I haven't installed your app yet—it looks great (it would be nice to
have a DEB package for Debian/Ubuntu)—but my only regret is that maybe
we could have focused our efforts on improving Xiphos and, above all,
porting it to Mac, rather than adding a new app.
But that's just my opinion!

Hi,
I have a new bible program at https://github.com/mozmck/verdad for
anyone who is interested.
I have long used Xiphos (from back when it was gnomesword) and really
like it, so the basic layout of mine is very similar to that. My
motivation to build this was mostly that I had a number of features I
like or wanted and I recently became interested in trying AI for
coding. Another part of my motivation was to make something with few
and light dependencies, and easy to port to windows and macOS.
Probably the most unique thing about Verdad is that it was coded
almost entirely by Claude and Codex (mostly Codex) in about 2.5 weeks
of my spare time telling them what to do in plain english. That
includes EVERYTHING including the build system, packaging, and even
the icon. I did tweak a few lines of code a couple of times and
modified a 24x24 icon myself, but that's about it.
There are several features and changes I still have in mind and want
to play with (not to mention inevitable bugs) but I think it is pretty
usable as it is.
Blessings,
Moses
