I would think there are two aspects to this.
Making the programme responsive to assistive tools and making the text accessible.
I have had long involvement with libsword's filter system which produces the text output.
I would think it would be useful and the right thing to do to make the text more accessible irrespective of when individual apps can follow suit.
My time is limited and I have been absent from CW for the better part of two years, but I would love to ensure that this kind of work is enabled to go forward from libsword's side.
So, Don, if you would want to contact me offline we could maybe start to talk this through?
