I'm Sorry! I have not been clear in my explanations:)
I agree, it's not a Fedora thing, it's just that building with CMake
now require out-of-source builds.
At a first glance, it seems the Perl install script doesn't work with
out-of source builds.
We were in a pre-lockdown situation yesterday, so I didn't have much
spare time to work on this.
