I just updated to iOS 13.5 on my iPhone SE and iPad Mini 4. Now Touch ID doesn't work at all for the ProtonMail app.
It was temperamental before, but until they fix the app, I will only be able to use ProtonMail from a browser. I mention this only because it will affect my responsiveness. Please be patient if it takes longer for me to respond.
