Thanks! Yeah, that's clear what happens here.

The Sword library package on Debian/Ubuntu is literally named libsword11v5.

It's not a custom build of Sword on Linux.

I guess I have two options:
1) Shipping all the necessary .so files with my software
2) Packaging my software for various Linux distributions (at least RPM & DEB)
