Yes, this is helpful. It looks like you don't have internet access from this device at the time you issued the Witness Study request. The Witness Study and Variant Study tools pull from the work we did at the Institut für Neutestamentliche Textforschung in Münster (the authors of the Nestle-Aland Greek New Testament). We have exposed public APIs on their servers to our work there and Bishop hits these APIs to get the results. It would not be practical to make this available offline. The images and data take up 3TB of storage currently and is growing. You need an internet connection for these features to work. I should add a message if the API request fails, something like: Only available when online.
