d) Sometimes an index seems to install OK, but subsequently appears as
unavailable when you try to search the same module in PS.
We don't know the root cause yet. Maybe there is also a technical
compatibility issue?
For my part, before today, it wasn't apparent that the indices for
non-CrossWire modules are hosted on our server.
This explains how the Xiphos hosted modules all have an index.
