I've just downloaded xiphos 4.0.7 from epel testing. it doesn't seem to need xiphos-common anymore? I don't normally run it from a command prompt, but I did it just now and I get: $ xiphos (xiphos:20920): Gtk-WARNING **: Theme parsing error: gtk-widgets.css:1602:13: not a number (xiphos:20920): Gtk-WARNING **: Theme parsing error: gtk-widgets.css:1602:13: Expected a string. Other than that, it seems to run though I haven't actually exercised much beyond starting and exiting. I'll post again if issues pop up. thanks for the build!
