I installed Xiphos 4.0.3 for Windows after downloading it from SourceForge. NB. The new release was not yet featured in the home page for xiphos.org
Two observations for Xiphos 4.0.3, after adding the eBible.org FTP repository. 1. For Biblical Text modules, a visit to the language branch called "Unknown" lists 12 modules. It would seem that the languages list in locales.conf lack a few entries. It should be easy enough for Karl to add these after checking ethnologue, etc. Aside: Might it be an improvement to have "Unknown" placed at the top of the languages list? Making it more noticeable would potentially lead to faster feedback to the developers in future. 2. The language name at the top of the modules list begins with an apostrophe. The language is displayed as 'Auhelawa. In locales.conf the entry is kud.en='Auhelawa The bug is that the branch expand/contract control is missing for this language! I guess the presence of the leading apostrophe somehow messes with how the module manager UI interacts with the language name. btw. The actual module "KUD (kud2008)" shows up under "Unknown". NB. There's a similar kind of entry in locales.conf for alu.en='Are'are No modules for this, but I thought it sensible to search for any more leading apostrophes. I wouldn't be surprised if there are some unrelated errors in locales.conf This line struck me as a contender: azj-Cyrl=آذربایجان Best regards, David -- View this message in context: http://sword-dev.350566.n4.nabble.com/eBible-org-repository-refresh-complete-tp4654913p4654919.html Sent from the SWORD Dev mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ sword-devel mailing list: sword-devel@crosswire.org http://www.crosswire.org/mailman/listinfo/sword-devel Instructions to unsubscribe/change your settings at above page
