Hi Joseph, I am not sure if the "distributed/collaborative authoring & editing tools" mentioned on the website may refer to the Bibledit suite<http://bibledit.org>of programs. Crosswire packagers have at times packaged<http://lists.alioth.debian.org/pipermail/pkg-crosswire-devel/2009-January/000152.html>the software for Debian. Perhaps that's the reason this was mentioned on the website.
