- The utility within Mac OS X - BabelPad (latest release 6.1.0.7) When I use the latter to convert Traditional Chinese to Simplified Chinese, the output includes several codepoints in the Secondary Ideographic Plane, viz. 028C54 𨱔 1 CJK UNIFIED IDEOGRAPH-28C54 02AA27 𪨧 155 CJK UNIFIED IDEOGRAPH-2AA27 02B21F 𫈟 10 CJK UNIFIED IDEOGRAPH-2B21F 02B500 𫔀 61 CJK UNIFIED IDEOGRAPH-2B500 02B5EA 𫗪 1 CJK UNIFIED IDEOGRAPH-2B5EA 02B5ED 𫗭 11 CJK UNIFIED IDEOGRAPH-2B5ED 02B6F2 𫛲 8 CJK UNIFIED IDEOGRAPH-2B6F2 Now we can discuss the matter further with Andrew West, yet my impression is that he is far more knowledgeable about Chinese than whoever was behind the utility adopted in Mac OS X. I rest my case, even though it depends on resolving how accurate our ChiUns module text is. Moreeover, I don't know whether the source text for ChiUn was originally converted from Paratext/USFM.
