There are other download options on http://www.bibleprotector.com/ in which their text omits the hyphens.
e.g. http://www.bibleprotector.com/WHARTON_PCE.txt This should be seen as an inconsistency in the source text website, rather than as an 'excuse' for choosing the "easiest to process" towards a SWORD module.
