I've occasionally received source text files (non-English versions) where the same abbreviation was used for two different books!
e.g. Jud used for Judges and Jude e.g. Jo used for Joshua and John, not to mention Jonah and Joel. These delinquencies certainly catch out the unwary, and require extra workarounds.
