Actually, I only made a comment on directing users to current SVN vs. tested releases of some of our converter Perl scripts. That's because I think this is completely irrelevant to the issue of CMS. Whether we use CMS or not has nothing to do with which version of Perl scripts we point users to first, and I can't see myself ever coming to the opinion that we should direct them to SVN as their first option.
I'll place a redirect on the diatheke page presently, but observe that this is also irrelevant to the issue of adopting CMS. Its page hasn't gone 10 years without editing, rather 5. For the last year and a half, the page has been mirrored on the wiki, but underwent no meaningful changes until last week. The news items at the head of the old diatheke page that have raised such ire still represent the last major activity on the frontend (so being in a CMS hasn't magically caused frontend development). And there are a bunch of links that are essentially worthless, pointing at ancient versions of software (so being in CMS doesn't magically update content).
