Greg, MK ("Holy Bible") is the same as the open source xulsword project, so anyone can study how it is programmed. Here's the project URL....
http://code.google.com/p/xulsword/ When I met the programmer face to face in 2009 Q1, he hadn't got round to putting the source code online. However, this has since been rectified. The current version of MK on the IBT website is the same as on the above project repo., so all is up to date. Incidentally, the audio player that it calls is QuickTime.
