It's a complicated search path, but here is at least part of it (from memory):
$HOME/.sword ($HOME being C:/users/username/) $HOME/sword current working directory $SWORD_PATH (env variable) $ALLUSERSPROFILE/sword There are a few more, but those are the only ones in use (that I'm aware of).
