It is by no means clear to me that any kind of auto-refresh (or multi-refresh, even when manual) is acceptable, given the otherwise paranoid persecution perspective about net access. A deliberate, manual choice to refresh seems to follow that outlook far more than any kind of "look what we can do for you on our own."
