Thanks to those people who replied about this. I've realised that it's too late to sort this out for v1.0 of PocketSword & also that I should have attached the current strings to be translated!
I will try to make a freeze of the strings to be translated for the next version in the next week or so & then post it here so those people with the skill & time & desire can go wild. :D Thanks again, ybic nic... :) ps: Please bear with me in things like this - I'm still figuring out how to manage a project like this! OSS & translations & dealing with releasing a product through Apple & the rest is really a fun learning experience & I hope that everything I'm learning from v1.0 will help make everything much smoother for the next release! :) On 17/11/2009, at 7:09 PM, Nic Carter wrote: > > Hi all. :) > > We're very close to a release of v1.0 of PocketSword, with the latest (and > hopefully last) beta being released yesterday. :) > [yet another call for those with iPhones or iPod Touches to sign up to beta > test -- send me an email if you're interested!] > > On the iPhone, there's the opportunity for localisation into: > > - English (well, this is already done!), > - Dutch, > - French, > - German, > - Italian, > - Spanish, and > - Japanese > > So if anyone is interested in helping out, I can email you a list of the > strings that we require translated :) > > Oh, and while I remember it, is there a standard translation (into various > languages) of the Disclaimer warning that we show in the InstallMgr before > setting: > void setUserDisclaimerConfirmed(bool val) { userDisclaimerConfirmed = > val; } > ???
