Thank you Peter. I have been searching for a good source of biblical maps and found this software that can quickly create customized maps: http://www.biblemapper.com/
The software has a very nice looking map template on top of which you can show or hide biblical cities, rivers, peaks, boundaries, routes, etcetra. The learning curve is minimal and I was able to create one quickly. According to this website (http://biblemapper.pbworks.com/), BibleMapper "allows for the creation of copyright-free maps". If that statement is true, I am wondering if anyone would be interested in a project to create maps and make a module for Crosswire.
