Here is my Debian/Ubuntu-biased perspective, in alphabetical order:
Bibledit: Has no specific SWORD library version dependency, so the
Debian and Ubuntu bibledit 3.7 packages are already fine, by definition.
Biblememorizer: I'll recheck, but I think the existing packages I have
made available will be fine with SWORD 1.6.0, though I have not tested
it recently.
BibleTime: As far as I know the Debian and Ubuntu packages I have been
creating for BibleTime are already "1.6 compatible".
Diatheke: Is as up to date as the SWORD packages are, more or less by
definition, since it is part of the SWORD source tarball.
Xiphos: Again, Dmitry's current packages should already work fine with
SWORD 1.6.0.
Summary: I can't speak for the Windows or Mac worlds, but in the Linux
world, SWORD 1.6.0 compatible binaries (binary packages!) for each front
end application are already available, so there is no "expected to
become available" date for any of them :)
God willing, I'll have SWORD 1.6.0 packages available for both Debian
and Ubuntu either late tonight, or else by the end of Friday. Then we
have to get them (and the associated front ends) into Debian unstable
and then Debian testing, and also synced into Ubuntu ready for Karmic...
which is some work, but looking very feasible.
