Peter, Speaking from my own experience, I have found that offering to provide a mobile phone application using Go Bible, and offering this as an unconditional free service, this can be the expression of good faith that can lead to greater co-operation from copyright owners (i.e. for CrossWire in general).
This fits in with the Lord's saying, "Give, and it shall be given unto you."
