There's an update (version 1.3) to usfm2osis.pl: http://www.crosswire.org/ftpmirror/pub/sword/utils/perl/usfm2osis.pl
I would recommend SFMToOSIS over usfm2osis.pl, but since our util is so much easier to actually use, I thought it would be good to update it nonetheless. The update (in comparison to the previously released version) fixes a few bugs, but most importantly adds an encoding argument.
