Just read stuff from the OpenBSD hackathon. Have you ever thought about us maybe doing something similar? I think a lot of amazing stuff happens while everyone is on IRC, mailing lists etc, but maybe being in one place and pushing each other on + praying and worshipping together might add a new edge?
