It seems to me that there must be a number of Bible related digitization
projects around the world where those involved may not be taking full
advantage of the use of Neural Network computing in OCR applications.  This
2003 article by Alex Cherkasov covers some of the techniques involved.

Prices for these Neural Network code libraries are quite reasonable.

Proper selection of software tools could speed up the digitization of other
public domain Bible editions in various languages.  Further discussion on
this topic is welcome, especially if any forum members have expertise in
this area.
