I'd like to make a small improvment request on
passagestudy and powsersearch page.
This should be a big help for non-English speaking
readers.
I will be more than happy to help make this small
improvement if some one knows the trick but not have
the time yet can
 still provide some guidance like how to get the
 full localized book name list and the short hand
mentioned below. I can hard code the shorthand list if
it not exist already.

Here is the improvement request:
on Passagestudy.jsp

 <form action="<tiles:getAsString
name="lookup_url"/>">
          <fieldset>
          <legend><t:t>verse or
passage:</t:t></legend> <input type="text" name="key"
size="15" />
          <input type="submit" value="go" title="Go to verse
or passage" />
          </fieldset>
 </form>

The "key" here instead of asking user to input like
"gen 1:1", I'd prefer it be a combination of 3 drop
down
list: book, chapter, verse. The key can be generated
as book+" " +chapter+":"+verse. At least the book name
short hand
should be from drop down list. Many readers do not
know the English Short hand, especially when the short
hand is in a different language. The label of the book
names on the dropdown list should still be in the same

language as the default bible version/or locale. Since
chapter/verse numbers range are different for
different books, we
could either set a maximum range, or let the user
input, or change the range according to the book name
selection.

Similar on the powersearch page for the search range
spec.
