This may have already been offered as a suggestion, but would it be possible to import Bibles from biblegateway.com a similar app (windows) was written for e-sword that allows you to import bibles into their MDB format so I'm guessing it wouldn't be too difficult to import to something like vpl or imp. The real question is the legal one....
