As stated by others, CrossWire's goal is explicitely and exclusively to bring the Good News of Jesus Christ's saving sacrifice to a dying world.
I personally am Socratic enough about my faith to welcome the comparison and study of other religions. I know the God I serve and am fully convinced that He is real. I have nothing to hide and welcome-- even encourage-- the challenge.
The software, in and of itself, can display material in a variety of formats. There is nothing that would need 'modifying' for the engine to display 'texts of other faiths'-- a fork of the code would not be necessary. Our remote module installation tool allows for multiple sources of texts. You might merely consider hosting an alternate repository of texts.
Again, my personal belief is that there is Absolute Truth, and Christ is the embodiment of that Truth. I believe He Loves all men and desires them to come to a saving knowledge of the Truth. And I know He said, "Seek and you will find." Trusting Him to be faithful to that promise, I would welcome any effort to make seekers out of a vastly complacent and indifferent, or mindlessly accepting world.
Encouraging the reader to note the attributions made above to CrossWire's purpose and those distinct to my personal convictions.

Hi all,
I wonder if what your opinions are on the texts of other faiths? Any objections to modifying SWORD so that it's useful to a wider audience?
