I am *NOT* > trying to open up their closed software, but they might suspect that. why not do it like qt or mysql then? Simply dual license your code. You have the right to do that since you are the one who wrote it. You simply gpl the version that works with sword and leave all the other ones alone. That way you have the mpl for your other works and are free to do as you please and you can still distribute the gpl version with biblecs (win32 sword front end).
I mean if all you want is to distribute it. Then simply keep the other parts of code out of your other releases. It will mean you will have to, to a degree, fork your own project but from the sounds of it you do that on a case by case basis anyway. I'm sure you would have separate versions for instance logos and quickverse( I dont really know any others) since those companies may require you to do it that way. - -- -~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~- Brook Humphrey Mobile PC Medic, 420 1st, Cheney, WA 99004, 509-235-9107 http://www.webmedic.net, [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] Holiness unto the Lord -~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~- -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.3 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE/3y2nnT1TkA6FgPgRAhttAKCAsolKk1pV4hQA/1qv3HjbsZnyUACglaod G2T+X3scsR9aIGX1riDGaMk= =3+gx -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ sword-devel mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.crosswire.org/mailman/listinfo/sword-devel
