I dont really care or else I would not program in gpl. That however was not my question. And again to the rest of your email it is not really a matter of what crosswire does with the gpl but rather what does the gpl say. If you dont exercise the right to your license you loose the right. That is hte best understanding of copyright law and I'm no lawyer. I have just seen others doing this kind of thing. You make it clear that you believe that something about the gpl goes against the bible? Unless i misunderstand you? At any rate there is nothing that could be done about it anyway as there is others gpl code used as chris pointed out. This whole argument is rather moot. The gpl simply states that if you base your work on a gpl project it has to be gpl period. -- -~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~- Brook Humphrey Mobile PC Medic, 420 1st, Cheney, WA 99004, 509-235-9107 http://www.webmedic.net, [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] Holiness unto the Lord -~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~- _______________________________________________ sword-devel mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.crosswire.org/mailman/listinfo/sword-devel
